Change Style Indicator® Assessment

change-style-indicator The Change Style Indicator® is a self-rating leadership assessment developed by Discovery Learning designed to measure an individual’s preferred style in approaching change and dealing with situations involving change.

The Change Style Indicator® places individuals on a change style continuum ranging from Conserver style on the far left, to Pragmatist in the center, to Originator style on the far right of the range. The three styles display distinct differences and preferences when approaching change. Individuals receive a report that addresses:

  • Their unique position on the continuum of change.
  • Their own style of dealing with change.
  • How their style affects others, and influences their perceptions of others.
  • Traps that can limit flexibility in leadership.
  • Recognition of strengths and weaknesses in each Change Style.

The Change Style Indicator® can be used to:

  • Improve teamwork.
  • Improve interpersonal communication and understanding.
  • Avoid conflicts and reduce dysfunctional meetings.
  • Encourage teams to consider all perspectives when resolving issues.
  • Enable a team’s creativity.

  • Inform teams about the three unique styles for dealing with change.
