Anne serves AvoLead clients as an organizational effectiveness consultant, facilitator and executive coach. Experienced in performance management, training and leadership development, she has spent more than 20 years as an executive coach and career and organizational development consultant. She is highly sought-after for her work in assisting individuals and organizations to succeed in today’s complex business environments.

Anne founded AED Leadership Solutions to support small and medium sized companies in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development and change management. She designs and implements interventions to build leadership capacity, facilitate change, manage culture shifts and align human capital with business outcomes. Previously, Anne was the Management Director of DBM’s Talent Development and Executive Coaching Practice in the southeast. There, she worked with both senior executives and teams to develop solutions to their key business challenges. Earlier, as a principal at ADJ Consulting, Anne provided focused and practical executive development services to individuals and organizations. Her experience spans work in a broad range of industries including healthcare, finance, technology, pharmaceuticals and software training.

After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Carolina University, Anne earned her doctorate in Adult and Community College Education with an emphasis in Training and Development at North Carolina State University. She has specialized training in Executive Coaching and Assimilation and is a National Certified Counselor, North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor and a Covey Facilitator. She is a Paper Planes, Inc.® certified facilitator and is qualified to use and interpret the MBTI, Hogan, Benchmarks 360, FIRO-B and Decision Style Profile® assessment tools. Anne was a founding member and local chapter president of the Association for Psychological Type and served as Southeast Regional President and on the Board of Directors of the international association.

Anne resides in Raleigh, NC with her photographer husband Richard. Active in her community, she is past President of Meals on Wheels of Wake County and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Anne relaxes by working in her garden and creating fiber art. She believes in a holistic approach to work/life balance and is trained as an Integrative Health Coach through Duke University’s Center for Integrative Medicine.
